Product Description

The pass thru box is a critical part of the product transfers which occur in every cleanroom. Although simple in design, the use
of a pass box is essential to the maintenance of the high level of cleanliness within the cleanroom. The pass box significantly limits
the amount of outside air exposed to the clean zone. With the use of either a mechanical or electrical interlock system, the cleanroom
is protected from the cross-contamination which would occur if both doors were to open simultaneously. Atmos-Tech constructs
Pass-Thrus for small or large parts, wheeled carts, and even personnel.

 

In terms of interlocking methods, there are generally two interlocking methods: mechanical interlocking or electronic interlocking. Their working principles are as follows.

1.Mechanical interlocking device: the internal use of mechanical form to achieve interlocking, when one door is opened, the other door cannot be opened, and the other door must be closed before the other door can be opened.

2.Electronic interlocking device: the internal use of integrated circuits, electromagnetic locks, control panels, indicator lights, etc. to achieve interlocking, when one of the doors is opened, the door opening indicator of the other door does not light up, indicating that the door cannot be opened, and electromagnetic The lock action realizes interlocking. When the door is closed, the electromagnetic lock of the other door starts to work, and the indicator light will light up, indicating that the other door can be opened.
